Maria Tapionkaski

About me

I am Maria Katariina Tapionkaski, born and raised in Helsinki city. I have graduated from Suomen Urheiluhierojaopisto on as a trained masseur.

During autumn 2025 I have also attended an acupuncture course so besides the classical and sport massages I can provide acupuncture too at the reception.

One of my passions is rock climbing and to be more specific, bouldering, and I tend to go climbing once or twice a week. Alongside bouldering, I also attend aerial yoga classes every now and then.

So you could say I like to… hang around. I also hang around with my family and friends in my free time.

When it comes to bouldering and aerial yoga I really enjoy how slow paced and body control centred they both are and they are a perfect match for my calm nature.

The best at work

The absolute best thing for me must be working with different people which I really enjoy. I am a customer service oriented person so working as a trained masseur is a dream come true for me.

I also have a deep interest in my trade. I am eager to learn more and develop my own knowledge.

Suomen Urheiluhierojaopisto has taught me well also igniting the flame of ambition in me towards the trade.

Future

​

Just graduated, I plan to work at Flexus Töölö for the time being and will focus on my trade and developing my skills as a trained masseur.

I do have a goal to study naprapathy in the following years but the time for that is not yet and for now I can be found at Flexus Töölö.
