About me
I will graduate in the summer of 2025 from the Finnish Sports Massage Institute as a licensed massage therapist, specializing in sports massage. During my studies, I have gained diverse hands-on experience in the field – my clients have included everyday active individuals, those seeking relaxation, as well as top-level athletes. Working with athletes from clubs like HJK and HIFK has been especially rewarding and has broadened my perspective on the importance of body maintenance in goal-oriented training.
Exercise has always been a part of my life. In my youth, I practiced horseback riding for over ten years, and nowadays I mainly train at the gym and focus on strength sports. I am genuinely interested in holistic well-being and always aim to find the most suitable approach for each client – whether the goal is recovery, pain relief, or pure relaxation.
Before studying massage therapy, I worked in the retail sector for over ten years, most of which I spent in supervisory roles. This experience gave me the opportunity to lead various teams and interact with a wide range of people.
The best at work
The best part of this job is undoubtedly helping and connecting with people. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be a part of someone’s recovery, daily well-being, or even just a moment of relaxation. Every client brings their own unique situation, and it’s important to me that each person feels genuinely seen and heard. I enjoy being able to combine hands-on work with my interest in body care and movement.
Future
My goal is to continue developing in the field of manual therapy and to expand my expertise even further. I am particularly interested in jaw muscle massage and acupuncture, and I plan to pursue training in these areas after graduation. In the longer term, I am also considering studies in osteopathy.
In the future, I want to offer highly versatile, individualized, and effective treatments – and to build a strong and broad professional skill set with the client always at the center.
